UNIFOR: On 7 October it will be newly formed UNIFOR’s first year marking WDDW. See Unifor’s 7 October statement, calling for a “Good Jobs Revolution” in Canada.

Unifor will organize a National Good Jobs Summit in 2014. This Summit will mark the beginning of a much-needed conversation about job creation and job quality in Canada, and Unifor is leading the charge.

To help get the word out, Unifor has lined up a number of communications initiatives:

• A national billboard campaign (“Join the Good Jobs Revolution”)
• A social media conversation: Unifor has created Twitter hashtag (#GoodJobsRev) to get this conversation started online! Unifor has also produced a series of social media share graphics, and Facebook banner images, to help promote the union and their campaign.
• A dedicated website: Get regular updates, download graphics and other relevant materials, by visiting Unifor’s new campaign microsite.
• Public engagement: Unifor’s goal is to get everyone – not just Unifor members – talking about good jobs over the next year!
