Big Brother is watching you

USA: A study carried out by an American employers’ association shows that 67% of U.S. companies have their employees under surveillance at work. Methods used for this go from the numbered magnetic key, which indicates the comings and goings of employees, to invasion of their electronic mail.
In addition to this, 39% of the employers participating in the survey keep track of all telephone numbers which have been called, as well as the duration of each conversation, and 16% observe the behaviour of their personnel through video recordings.
A large majority of these firms claim that their employees are aware of this surveillance. Perhaps these same employees should be better informed of their rights.
