A new education network

HUNGARY: For the first time, the IMF affiliates within the Central & Eastern Europe region have met in a workshop on education. There are huge differences between the unions in this region. However, most of them are receiving or are hoping to receive assistance — training and financial help — from other trade unions in Western countries and Central & Eastern Europe. The most important conclusion of the meeting is that IMF affiliates in the region will develop a network for the field of education. Their aim is to exchange and learn from their different experiences.
